Goals Update: June

Tomorrow starts my birthday month - Yippee!!

1. GET REGULAR EXERCISE/COMMIT TO THE GYM - I have been feeling really good about this.  With the exception of a week or two when I could only make it twice, I've been consistently going to the gym three times a week.  I feel good about it and I've been feeling a lot better about my body - which was what I wanted to achieve.  I'm still trying to get over to the beach yoga classes I signed up for, but the weather hasn't been cooperating.

2. DEVELOP THAT CAREER PATH - Well, as I mentioned - I passed my CAE exam.... I'm super excited about this.  This is a HUGE step for my career.  And hopefully I will have a job lined up here in the next week.  I'm making progress... but steps here.

3. BE MORE WILLING TO BE SPUR OF THE MOMENT -  Trying.  My lack of a schedule right now allows me to be sort of spur of the moment at all times.  So it's hard to practice this right now.

Life Update

Holy cow - I didn't realize I did not post during the ENTIRE month of June.  I'm sorry!

I'm not really sure where this blog is heading in the future.  It might disappear - like so many blogs when the time comes.

I have some updates to share with you all.

First, I had a BLAST during my very first pin up contest.  I didn't make it to the second round, but I made some new friends and had a fantastic time.  Here are a few photos from the day.

Strange Beauty Show did our hair for the day and Bomber Betty Cosmetics did our makeup.

We had a photographer that walked around with us to take some photos.  It was fun to take a few photos with the classic cars.

Second, I PASSED my certification exam I took back in May!  I had forgotten about waiting for the results since it was 7-8 weeks since I took the exam.  But by the time that week rolled around (last week), I was SURE that I had failed and I was seriously avoiding checking my mail.  Thankfully, Justin told me that I should just suck it up and check it.  I almost fainted in the hallway when I opened it to see that I passed!!  This is a HUGE step towards my career goals.

Also, the very next day, I got a call that I was offered this job I really wanted.  I am going to wait to talk more about that until I actually have the contract signed and done...  it was a crazy week for sure!
