Goals Update: April


I feel like I accomplished nothing in April related to my goals... ESPECIALLY in the 101 list.


1. Complete at least 2 items from my 101 IN 1,001 LIST each month - Yeah, this did not happen.  There are a couple of things that are in the works (like cards for people's birthdays) that just aren't happening.  Maybe this summer I should schedule some to finish.

2. GET IN SHAPE - Pretty good!  Haven't weighed or measured anything, but I feel good.  Running training has gone well.  This past weekend, Sprangers and I ran 9 miles and I ran it in my fastest time - 10:40/mile.  I felt good until mile 7 and then it became hard.  My legs started to feel like dead weight.  That being said, I'm feeling really good about finishing the actual 13 miles without much walking.  If I can keep up this training, I will be on good track.  I've also been going to the gym 3 times a week and taking pilates classes.  

3. EAT BETTER -  Decent this month.  I have made a couple of recipes out of the Raw Diet book, like a delicious salad dressing.  I noticed that when I do follow their recommended eating habits, I don't feel tired in the afternoon and have more energy.  My weakness is sweets.  I have to get better control over that.
