The weather was drizzling and cool when Megan and I headed out there. Thankfully, it stopped raining within the first mile. It ended up being great running weather. A little humid, cool breeze and no sun.
Writing about running is not super exciting, I'll just say that I am super proud that we did not stop to walk at all (with the exception of while we were drinking water... it's WAY too hard to drink water while running).
AND, I finished before my 2:30 goal.
Pretty darn proud of my new personal record and how well I did in this race. It's going to be tough for me to beat.
