So..... I'm Tall.

*I am disclaimering this entire post by stating at the beginning that I love being tall.  LOVE IT.  I wear 5 inch heels without a care.  Being tall rocks!

On Wednesday, I had a meeting with a potential client out in Naperville.  It was in the afternoon, so I used that time to stop by my old high school for their senior night volleyball game.  I knew that stopping back there would allow me to see at least a couple people I haven't seen in a while.

While I didn't see everyone I wanted to, I did get to see a bunch of people - like some old supporters of the volleyball program.

When I was out there, I came to a little realization...

I am tall.

Now, this is not the first time I've been made aware of it.  At 6 ft tall barefoot, I know I am significantly taller than most people.

I have the advantages of being around my family - whom are modestly tall - and teammates - who are decently tall.

Last winter I met up with my girlfriends from grade school and I was a good 6 inches taller than the next tallest person.  Then, on Wednesday, I was almost a foot taller than my old volleyball coach and friend from high school.  Even my old grade school boyfriend that was there was not really taller than me.

While I'm used to being taller than people in work settings and in social settings, I guess my memories of these people from my past was that we were a bit closer in height.  (And I was 5'10 by my freshman year of high school, so no... it's not because I've grown.)

Point being, I would appreciate if the people around me would stop shrinking.  :)

Here's my casual Friday outfit and a ridiculously cute photo of Brody (taken by my sister).

So stinking cute.  I barely ever see him (or Liam) when they are awake.
