Golightly Creative

I've been thinking a lot about the little side business I've been trying to start.  It all started while I was helping/watching Melissa and Justin plan their wedding in 2009.  I helped them by making their invitations and it sort of ballooned from there.  I've done a few wedding invitations, mostly from recommendations from kind friends, and some family members.  I really enjoy doing it but am struggling with making it become more of a hobby.

For those of you that know, there are TONS of companies (big and small) that do invitation design.  They range from just the design portion to the actual printing and assembly.  There is an option for each budget and need.  So I'm struggling with how to stand out.

I have several items on my 101 things to do that involve Golightly.  I just need to do them.

My overall goal of the company was not just to do invitations or note cards.  It was to keep my options open in case one day in my far future, I wanted to start my own event planning company (which there are also TONS of... go figure).

Given everything else that I have going on in my life, it has taken a back burner (rightfully so).  But at some point I am going to need to some decisions about what to do.  And that's a little stressful.
