Also, I HATE Mondays. Hate them.
Anyways, here's a random smattering of thoughts in list form (yippee!)
- This weekend was one full week with roommates. Hopefully little Kayla has adjusted to her new surroundings and will stop driving mom and dad crazy! :)
- Samson is having a rough time adjusting to not being the center of attention at the house. Over the weekend, I think he had his limit and just wanted a little TLC. He's such a big baby.
- Marathon training is going well. This Saturday I ran 3 miles. I'm going to make a general statement and say this is the further I have ever voluntarily* run. While it was slow, it was continuous and I felt really great after. It also helps that it was beautiful outside.
- Melissa and I did some damage at Ulta on Friday since they had a Benefits deal going on. It's always exciting to get new things, you want to play with them immediately.
- I'm not realizing that my goal to make more of an effort appearance wise for work is going to mean getting up a bit earlier. I can no longer scrape by with blow drying my hair, throwing on clothes, swiping on makeup and running out the door. Hopefully, the fact that it will be lighter out will help with this transition a bit.
I also just realized that I think March is going by so quickly because I have so many things coming up in the next two months. First, my work conference. I will be gone for 10 days in Seattle for work. And then quickly following that I will be in Mexico for my girls trip with a quick layover in Chicago for a few days. Before I know it, it will be memorial weekend... which has it's own implications. I'd rather not think about that now.
*Voluntarily, meaning OF MY CHOOSING, I cannot include any running done during college. That was mandatory and often, far from enjoyable.
