Sookie Stackhouse

Last summer a coworker of mine suggested I read the Sookie Stackhouse series of books by Charlene Harris.  The books are what the HBO series True Blood is based on.  The 11th book of the series just came out last month.  If you haven't read them, I suggest you do.  They are really good and pretty quick reads.  Perfect for by the pool or at the beach.  :)

After reading the books, I started watching the TV series on Netflix (sidenote: I hate watching TV series on Netflix.  Getting one DVD at a time is irritating).  So with the 4th season starting this month, I decided to suck it up and add HBO to my cable subscription.  I feel bad for Justin since I've been watching season 3 of True Blood for the last two days.

My favorite character, by far, is Eric Northman, played by Alexander Skarsgård.  (You've been warned... gratuitous photos to follow...)

I've officially decided what my next boyfriend will look like.  I haven't historically dated blonde guys, but maybe it's time I started. (BTW, he is 6'4"!!  How often does that happen in Hollywood?)
