Remember this post... yeah, WAY back when in MARCH! The one where I talked about social media and what I do and don't participate in.
Remember how I said I was going to try Tumblr. Yep, I did. And if you even bother to click that link you will see I posted a total of two times since I started it in March... TWO TIMES. Yep, definitely not going to continue that. It's like a hybrid of twitter and blogs, and requires a lot of energy in my opinion. I already spend a lot of energy trying to come up with things to write about on here. :)
Speaking of twitter, I created an account again (yes again). I had an account when it first got popular, got bored and deleted it. At the same time, I've had an account for work purposes this entire time. I rarely use it, though it did come in handy for work. It seems like this twitter thing is never going to die (at least for now) so I figured I would give it another shot. You can follow me if you would like, but I'm warning you, it's going to take a while for me to get into it.
Yesterday I started another account.... I just realized how this is making me look..... anyways, it's on a site called Pinterest. It's basically a virtual noteboard. Think if it as inspiration boards electronically. For a girl who has gotten into a habit of saving files from websites and blogs, emailing them to myself or dragging them to my dropbox, and then resaving them in folders on my home computer. Ridiculous. Now, when I see something I like I can use the "pin it" button in my toolbar and it will allow me to pick a photo I want to "pin" and it automatically saves the URL it came from. Seriously.... GENIUS! If you want, you can follow my boards.
This weekend I plan to mess around with the blog design, so I'll be adding some cute "follow me" buttons for these other social media sites. In the meantime, back to "pinning". :)
